All Head Over Heels Staff members are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified as well as First Aid & CPR Certified through the American Red Cross. Each coach has participated in a hands-on training course focusing on child development and movement as they relate to the sport of gymnastics.
Coaches at Head Over Heels attend regular professional development sessions provided by USA Gymnastics University.

Junior Olympic Team Coach
Patty was a competitive gymnast for many years in the USA Gymnastics program as well as for Weymouth High School. She and her family have always had a love for gymnastics, and her sister owns two very successful gymnastics schools in New Jersey. Patty has been coaching gymnastics for over 25 years. She has experience coaching all levels – from preschool and recreational classes to pre-team developmental programs and competitive teams. She has been directing gymnastics programs and developing lesson plans for over 20 years.
Patty is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member, and is USAG Safety Certified. She is a National and Regional Congress attendee, First Aid/CPR/AED certified, Meet Director certified, USAG Preschool Fundamentals certified, and Skill Evaluator certified.
Office Manager/Class Program Director
Susi has been an HOH Staff Member since 2001. She is a Regional and National Congress attendee with certifications in USAG Safety and USAG Preschool Fundamentals. She is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member. and is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Susi enjoys any activities that help her and her family stay active, happy, and healthy.

Diane has worked at Head Over Heels for several years in our office. She is a little bit camera shy but will do an excellent job helping you over the phone or at the front desk!
Class Instructor/Junior Olympic Team Coach
Josselyn has been coaching for over 20 years, including 2 years in California and several years at Head Over Heels. She returned to HOH in the fall of 2005 to work with our class and team programs. Josselyn is the mother of 3 incredible athletes, who are enrolled in the Head Over Heels programs and also excel in soccer and hockey.
Josselyn is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member, and is certified in USAG Safety, First Aid/CPR/AED, and USAG Preschool Fundamentals.
Xcel Program Director/Class Instructor
Jenn has been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Colorado, and New Mexico. She was a competitive gymnast throughout her school years and did gymnastics recreationally at the University of Vermont. When she is not in the gym, she is usually playing outside with her two boys – Lincoln and Grady.
Jenn is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member, USAG Safety Certified, and First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
Xcel Team Coach/Class Instructor
Alissa works with our gymkids, recreational classes, and Xcel Team programs here at Head Over Heels. She was a Junior Olympic and Prep Optional gymnast at HOH for many years. She is a graduate of UMass Boston where she received a degree in Psychology.
Alissa is a regional congress attendee and a USAG Professional Coach. Her certifications include USAG Safety and First Aid/CPR/AED.
Junior Olympic Team Coach/Class Instructor
Monica has been a gymnast for over 20 years. She competed in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, helping her team (Spain) place 5th. She was a part of the 2003 Spanish National Team, which placed 5th at the World Championships. She also competed in the 2005 World Cup, where she was the Vault Champion and placed 5th on Balance Beam.
Monica moved to the USA to learn English and study at the University of Bridgeport. She competed for the Bridgeport Gymnastics Team, helping them win 4 consecutive titles for the USAG Collegiate Championships. She is currently the Assistant Coach for the Rhode Island College Women’s Gymnastics Team.
Monica has been coaching gymnastics for over 5 years in both Spain and the USA. She works with our class and team programs. Monica is a USAG Professional Member, USAG Safety Certified, and First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
Junior Olympic Team Coach
JC has been coaching at HOH since 2011. He comes from Wisconsin, where he worked for 25 years at Salto Gymnastics as Elite, TOPs, and Junior Olympic Optional Director. He coached and choreographed many athletes on all four events to State and Regional Champs, TOPs Diamond, A & B National Team Members, and full college scholarships. He produced five Elite National Team Members. JC coached Chellsie Memmel from age 7 through the JO Optional levels, to become the Senior Pan Am Champion, World Champion, and through her first Olympic Games in 2008. He was voted Rookie Coach of the Year form the Elite Coaches Association, and two-time Wisconsin Coach of the Year. He has served as TOPs National Staff, Region 4 Chair, and clinician at numerous camps and clinics. JC has also been awarded the USA Gymnastics Master of Sport honor.
Ann Marie joined the Head Over Heels staff in 2011. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and is a former Kindergarten teacher. Ann Marie works in our office and helps out with our gym kids and recreational classes. She is a Regional Congress attendee and is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Theresa has been coaching gymnastics for over 30 years and has coached at gyms all over the country! She has also taught at an anti-gravity sports complex. During her years at Head Over Heels, she has worked with all of our programs: parent-tot, preschool, recreational classes, girls team and boys team. Theresa returned to HOH in the fall of 2014 to work with our class programs and we are so happy to have her!
Theresa is a Regional Congress Attendee and a USA Gymnastics Professional Member. She is USAG Safety and First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
Class Instructor/Special Needs Class Teacher
Joanie works with our camps, parent-tot, gymkids, and recreational class programs. She worked for several years in the integrated preschool program in the Hingham Public Schools, and directs the special needs class program at Head Over Heels on Sundays. Joanie has experience working with the Special Olympics and coached an HOH athlete in her first Special Olympics Gymnastics Competition.
Joanie is an avid runner and enjoys competing in road races and marathons. She attended Fitchburg State College and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. She attends regular professional development sessions provided by USA Gymnastics, including the annual USAG Regional Congress. She is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member and is certified in USAG Safety, USAG Preschool Fundamentals, First Aid/CPR/AED, & OCCS.
Xcel Team Coach
Erin is a former Head Over Heels gymnast as well as former captain of the Hingham High School gymnastics team. She has been coaching at Head Over Heels since 2000 and has worked with our preschool, class, camp, and team programs. Erin is currently coaching our Xcel teams.
Erin graduated from Quinnipiac University in the spring of 2008 and is now a registered nurse. She is a USA Gymnastics professional coach, USAG Safety Certified, and First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
Xcel Team Coach
Jenn was a gymnast for 16 years and competed all over Massachusetts for both her gymnastics school and her high school. She started teaching gymnastics in 1991 and has been coaching ever since. She is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member and Regional Congress attendee. Her certifications include: USA Gymnastics Safety, USAG Preschool Fundamentals, First Aid/CPR/AED. Jenn is also a hairdresser at Center of Attraction Salon in Weymouth.
Class Instructor/Xcel Team Coach
Kristine has been coaching gymnastics for over 14 years. She has been working at Head Over Heels since September of 2013. She was a competitive gymnast for both USA and AAU teams through her senior year of high school. In addition to coaching, Kristine was also a middle school math teacher for six years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State University and a Master’s Degree from Fitchburg State University, both in education.
Kristine works with recreational classes and Xcel teams at Head Over Heels. She is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member and is First Aid/CPR/AED and USAG Safety certified.
Class Instructor/Xcel Team Coach
Kati joined our family in 2014 and has over 8 years of coaching experience in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She now teaches both recreational classes and Xcel team programs here at HOH. She’s also an art instructor, surfer, and an active animal welfare advocate, effectively passing new legislation this year in Plymouth that banned the use of wild and exotic animals in traveling circuses and shows. Kati has traveled all over the world, spending time in places like Patagonia, South Africa, Italy, Israel, London, France and Thailand. She’s been working with children for most of her life and has a passion for coaching gymnastics.
Kati is a USAG Professional Member and is CPR, First Aid, and USAG Safety Certified.
Heather has been a gymnastics coach since 2006 and has been with Head Over Heels since 2008. She is a former gymnast of ten years, five of which were competitive. Besides gymnastics, Heather has been involved in sports all her life, including track and field, diving, and college field hockey. Her love of sports led her to a degree in sports management and a position at Head Over Heels, where she in involved with our preschool and recreational class programs.
Heather’s certifications include USAG Safety, First Aid/CPR/AED, and USAG Preschool Fundamentals. She is a Regional and National Congress attendee.
Class Instructor/Team Coach
Sarah has been a member of the Head Over Heels family since the age of four. She was a Level 9 gymnast on the Junior Olympic Team and member of the 2013 and 2014 Championship Massachusetts Regional Teams. Her accomplishments include: 2015 Eastern Nationals Qualifier, 2015 Level 9 Regional Team, 2nd Place All Around at Regionals, 2015 Beam & Floor Regional Champion, 2014 Level 8 Massachusetts State All Around and Floor Champion, 2014 Level 8 Regional Bar Champion, 2nd Place All Around at 2014 Regionals.
Sarah is currently a member of the Springfield College Women’s Gymnastics Team. As a coach at Head Over Heels, she is excited to work with some of the youngest athletes just beginning their gymnastics journey. Sarah is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Class Instructor/Xcel Team Coach
Brooke was a former gymnast and 2012 Xcel Gold Vault State Champion. She was also the 2013 Bars State Champion. She graduated from Bridgewater State University with degrees in History and Special Education.
Brooke is First Aid/CPR/AED certified and USAG Safety certified.
Erin has been doing gymnastics at Head Over Heels since she was five years old. She loves sharing all that she has learned during her time at Head Over Heels with her students. Erin completed her competitive gymnastics career by competing for the Rhode Island College gymnastics team.
Erin is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Katie was a gymnast at Head Over Heels. She was a member of our Xcel Team and also competed for Weymouth High School. She recently graduated from Springfield College.
Katie is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Carrie has worked at Head Over Heels since it’s opening in 1997. Over the years, she has worked with our parent-tot, preschool, recreational class, and team programs. She currently works with our class programs a few days a week.
Carrie works as a CNA at Children’s Hospital Boston on the surgical, trauma, and orthopedic floor. She hopes to finish nursing school in the near future. She is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member, USAG Safety Certified, First Aid/CPR/AED Certified, and holds a degree in Elementary Education.
Olivia has been working at Head Over Heels since the summer of 2015. She has been a gymnast at Head Over Heels Gymnastics since she was four. While at Head Over Heels, she competed on the USAG JO team for five years. Olivia was captain of the girls gymnastics team at Braintree High School, and is now a student at Curry College.
Olivia is First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
